Lee A. Strickler graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado in 1993. After spending a few years guiding raft trips and teaching skiing and snowboarding in Colorado and Idaho, she attended the University of Colorado School of Law, serving on the Law Review, and graduated in December 2000. In 2001, Lee A. Strickler was admitted to practice law in Colorado and the federal district court. In 2004, Ms. Strickler became a member of Strickler Biddison Law, and in 2023, formed Strickler Brennan Catlin with colleagues, Stephanie Brennan and Jessica Catlin.

Lee is an experienced trial attorney emphasizing family law and divorce, high-asset marital property division, and complex issues concerning trusts, stock options, business valuation, and related matters. Lee’s experience with complex property and asset division issues will assist in the efficient resolution of financial matters. Sometimes, however, resolving the legal issues is only half the battle.​

Lee is a tenacious, effective advocate, while always counseling of the risks and effects of litigation – particularly where children are involved. She is committed to understanding her client’s goals and works diligently to meet those goals. Lee’s creativity, knowledge of the law, and perseverance combine to attain the best possible outcome while maintaining integrity in every situation.​

Lee was the co-chair of the Boulder Bar Association Family Law Section for 2008-2009. She is also a member of the Boulder Bar Board of Directors to the Professionalism Committee and a member of the Board of Trustees for the nonprofit Bixby School in Boulder. In her free time, Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, dog Gus, traveling, and sailing.
